Dutch Choice was created from the need to make high-quality and
content-rich photography from the era of physical photos centrally
accessible. Starting with physical archives in Gispen cabinets and analog distribution through courier services and international shipments, it transitioned to digital archiving on the internet in 2000. This pioneering work led to the development of a digital archive, now housed at the National Archive. With advancements in wireless technology and global access to photography, the shift from analog to digital marks an era where the focus on quality and accessibility of imagery remains unchanged.
